What a FUN and exhausting six months it has been! Ben is growing fast than ever and not just physically. He is getting smarter each day, you can see it in his eyes and how he communicates. Remind me when he's older to thank him for having such clear communication skills.
* He cries only when he's exhausted and needs a nap, or if he's in his carseat and it's dark out. He really hates riding in the car at night!
* He sucks on two specific fingers when he is hungry and looks you in the eye to try to tell you he's hungry
* He grunts, kicks and arches his back when he doesn't want to eat yet, if you're trying to feed him
* He makes a funny noise if he's trying to get your attention; sounds kind of like, "hey, hey"
* He gets quiet when he needs his diaper changed
* He will kick his little toys if he's frustrated or bored
* He loves feeling lips on his lips, especially if you make funny noises. Now he grabs our ears to pull us closer. It's so cute.
* He doesn't mind if I read Pride & Prejudice to him instead of kiddie books
* Right now he will let any and every one hold him and he's happy as can be!
He is 27" long and weighs 18lbs 4oz. He is doing amazingly well but we are going to have a consultation with a head shape specialist for the flat spot on his head.
